Rianna’s athletic and educational backyard combines many streams of knowledge. From a player’s perspective, she understands what it feels like to train, to compete and to be a team player. From a professional standpoint, Rianna’s work and education combines Sports medicine, athletic performance, and Eastern medicine. With the combination of her player mentality, and her professional knowledge, Rianna can offer insight to help create an amazing environment for the developing soccer athlete.

The human body fascinates Rianna and what it is capable of. Rianna believes that the mind and the body must be recognized as 1 unit. She knows that many factors can throw off an athlete’s performance. By looking at the athlete in a holistic way, intimately connected, she can help overcome obstacles affecting the athlete and create athletic breakthroughs.

Rianna is excited to bring this Elite soccer training to our young athletes, which will incorporate aspects to improve physical and mental aspects necessary for success. She believes that young people have amazing potential in sport as well as in life. When we give our youth the right tools to thrive, the possibilities are endless!

James has been active in sports for all of his life. As a youth, he competed and medaled at the provincial level in multiple sports in his home province of Alberta. He has remained active in several sports as an adult.

He currently serves as the President of the PCSA in Peterborough. He is the Head Coach for the PCSA U15 Girls First and Second Teams. He is a certified coach in fitness training, soccer, basketball and hockey. He enjoys the challenges and rewards of coaching both individuals and teams.

He holds a PhD in Canadian Studies and is an Assistant Professor at Trent University where his academic specializations are Childhood Studies and Canadian History

. He has published extensively in these areas and is currently completing revisions on a manuscript based on his dissertation. His current work focuses on children and their intersections with play, recreation, health and sport in historical context.

Emedin Sabic enters his fifth year as head coach at Cal U in 2017.

Sabic has posted a 32-34-4 record while the head coach of the Vulcans after spending six seasons as an assistant coach with the Cal U soccer programs. He was an assistant coach with women’s program from 2007-09 before joining the men’s coaching staff in 2010. Sabic was also a four-year player for the Vulcans from 2003-06 under longtime head coach Dennis Laskey, who ranks second in PSAC history with 258 career wins.

Sabic guided the program to the first 10-win season of his career in 2016, as Cal U made a third-straight appearance in the PSAC Tournament.

Originally from Bosnia, Sabic moved to Germany in 1991 and played club soccer in Europe until his family moved to the United States in 1999. He attended Cathedral Prep in Erie, Pennsylvania, and helped lead the Ramblers to a state championship in 2001. He was a three-time, first-team all-metro and first-team all-district selection while playing at Prep.

Sabic earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Cal U in 2007 and completed his master’s degree in 2008. He and his wife Micheline reside in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

He currently holds a “B” license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

The studio opened it's doors December 15th, 2010 for a 2 week trial period before the grand opening January 3rd 2011. 18 students showed up to the very first class December 15th and she has never looked back!

Laura graduated from her first yoga teacher training in 2009 through Hot Yoga New Zealand, she has also trained with Jimmy Barkan in Costa Rica, Master Jason Campbell & Master Michael Leone at Zen Wellness in Phoenix Arizona. She is currently in her 6th year of an 8 year Masters Apprentice program to become a Master Teacher in the Eastern Healing arts through Zen Wellness. Laura is a certified and highly experienced yoga and qigong instructor whom always considers herself a student as well as a teacher.

Prior to yoga, she was a varsity rugby player at Queen's University, being awarded All-Star recognition and team captain in her final two years on the field. Laura also played provincial basketball and rugby. In 2002 she was captain of the Holy Cross Crusaders AAA OFSAA gold medal team. Upon the news of a devastating and reoccurring injury of torn cartilage due to a dislocated rib Laura was long listed to the Canadian National Rugby Team in 2006. It was this injury that landed her to a yoga mat.

Laura teaches regular classes and teacher trainees at Hot Yoga Peterborough and coaches individuals and to find their purpose through webinars and one-on-one coaching.

Brian is the creator of DNA of a Millionaire the 7 pillars of how to be rich inside and out for a healthier wealthier life. Brian is the owner of CrossFit P.O.W Performance Optimism Wellness, a 6 000 sq/ft wellness centre located in Pickering, Ontario that focuses on behaviour modification. At this facility, Brian helps people to become better versions of themselves by providing life coaching, mental health counselling, relationship counselling, business coaching, power therapy, lifestyle management assessment, fitness, yoga, and more.

Camp Details

Nike Soccer Camp is running July 9th-13th, 2018

Camp Check-in: Monday at 8:00AM
Camp Check-out: Friday at 3:30PM
Meals: Please pack a lunch and any snacks you may want/need (please ensure they are NUT FREE)
Ability: Proficient Soccer Athlete
Age: 10 - 17

Register a team for a discounted group rate. Designate a "coach" or "organizer" to complete the online team registration in the Dates & Prices section below. Included in the registration will be an electronic waiver to be filled out for their own child. The remainder of the team will need to complete paper waivers that will be sent to the coach/organizer to be filled out and brought with them to the first day of camp.  When prompted, make sure to list the first and last name of the other 6 players on the team.

More Important Camp Details

This camp is aimed at athletes with sound technical ability. In order to get the most out of this camp, the athlete should already be playing a high level of competitive soccer.
The goal of this camp is to develop individuals toward the collegiate level with training and instruction from collegiate level coaches. 
If there are any concerns with regard to your ability please reach out to us to clarify any concerns.

Camp check-in: At the field house located in between the artificial fields at Fleming College Sport Complex (599 Brealey Dr. Peterborough, ON)

Full Day Camp Only. Campers check-in at 8:00am Morning Motivation and Warm-up will begin at 8:30am.

****Inclement weather: we are OUTDOOR. We will only break from sessions for thunder and lightning. Campers please prepare with extra clothing in case of rain.

Checklist of items to bring:

Soccer cleats/Turf shoes
Water bottle (water will be available to refill bottles)
Hat (for non-soccer sessions)
Soccer Shorts
Shin guards
Extra shorts, t-shirt, socks and undergarments (in case of rain)
Running shoes
Medication if necessary (epi-pen, inhalers, etc)

Nike Soccer Camps instructors are all experienced and trained soccer professionals that are chosen not just for their extensive teaching backgrounds, but also because of their energetic and positive personalities. Most of our instructors have played soccer competitively and/or have varsity experience. In addition, all Nike Soccer Camps instructors are friendly, patient and excited to teach your child. The best sports experience starts with a great instructor and we promise to provide you with skilled and helpful instructors that will guide your child through their training.
