Nike Soccer Camp at Central Tech Stadium aims to introduce young athletes of all skill levels to the joy and practical details of soccer. Campers will work with certified coaches to develop new skills while enhancing already existing abilities, teamwork, and most importantly how to have fun in the process.

CTS offers their first year of soccer-specific camp. Each day features a new technique to help kids at all levels develop their soccer skills. Nike Soccer Camp at Central Tech Stadium includes instruction from Certified Soccer Coaches who will provide campers with tools to improve their ball control and passing, gain more confidence attacking and defending, and continue to learn more about the beautiful game of soccer.CTS is offering their first year of Nike Soccer Camps. New techniques will be featured on a daily basis to help kids at all levels hone and develope their soccer skills. CTS skills camp includes instruction from passionate and professional Soccer Coaches that will work to ensure campers will improve their ball control and touch while gaining more confidence attacking and defending.  Most importantly they will continue to learn more about the sport each day.

Alicia Lashley

Camp Director and Coach, Alicia Lashley, has spent years building an impressive pedigree within the soccer community.  She started playing soccer at the age of 4 and continued to play soccer into university. She spent 5 years at the University of Toronto where she finished her career with 2 All-Star selections and a performance scholarship.

She moved into coaching at a young age including youth club soccer teams, George Brown Women’s soccer team, Long Beach State University Club Team and Peel-Halton Soccer Association District Team. A Provincial B Licence coach, Alicia now coaches at the youth club competitive level where she enjoys working the most.

“I enjoy working with kids who show a passion to improve and learn more about the game. Soccer is a really great sport at the highest level of competition and just recreationally. I am always excited to show our youth everything the game has to offer on and off the field.”

Camp Details

Nike Soccer Camp is running July 23rd-27th and July 30th-August 3rd, 2018

Camp Check-in: Monday at 9:00AM (Early Drop Off 7:30AM-8:45AM $5/day payable at Front Desk)
Camp Check-out: Friday at 4:00PM (Late Pick Up 4:15PM-5:45PM $5/day payable at Front Desk)
Meals: Please bring lunch Monday – Thursday; Friday Pizza Lunch is provided at no additional charge; Campers need 2 healthy snacks all 5 days of the week.
Ability: Recreational Athlete – Rep Team Athlete
Age: 6-12

Camp Overview:

- Technical training: ball control, first touch, passing and shooting
- Tactical training: combination play, 1v1 attacking and defending, team defending
- Soccer competitions and fun drills
- Swimming, bouncy castles and other recreational activities

Nike Soccer Camps instructors are all experienced and trained soccer professionals that are chosen not just for their extensive teaching backgrounds, but also because of their energetic and positive personalities. In addition, all Nike Soccer Camps instructors are friendly, patient and excited to teach your child. The best sports experience starts with a great instructor and we promise to provide you with skilled and helpful instructors that will guide your child through their training.

Toronto's newest and most innovative sports facility is Central Tech Stadium. This $5 million+ stadium is conveniently located in Toronto just south of Bloor and Bathurst. The stadium is located directly behind Central Tech School at the corner of Bathurst and Harbord. The parking lot is on Borden street and the entrance to the stadium can be located off of Harbord Street. Central Tech Stadium offers users a state-of-the-art athletic facility that provides the "best of the best" including: an artificial turf field by Field Turf, a Beynon BSS1000 running track surface, Musco Sports Lights and a Farley Group winter dome. Central Tech Stadium will also include full service washrooms and a community room.
