Camp Director

Shawn Reynolds

Owner of Lytton Sports Camps. Shawn brings over 20 years of teaching experience and enthusiasm to Lytton Sports Camps (formerly Lytton Park Tennis).

He is a qualified teaching professional with the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA) and board member with the Tennis Toronto Committee. He founded his first tennis academy at Laurentian University while completing his honours degree in Human Kinetics.  Based on that rewarding experience, Shawn launched Lytton Sports Camps almost 10 years ago.

Today he directs multiple indoor and outdoor programs across GTA for 12 months of the year.  Lytton Sports Camps has grown from junior recreational programs to now include advanced junior lessons and adult classes in tennis, soccer and basketball.

Shawn believes that enthusiasm, patience and encouragement can be the difference between a child playing sports just one time or embracing sports for a lifetime.

With 15 years working and developing children’s recreation/sports programs, Matthew comes to Lytton Sports Camps most recently from Royal Caribbean International in the role Youth Activities Manager. Matthew is looking to take new and innovative programming ideas to compliment an already established leader in the world of Sports Camps.

We offer 5-day camps with Full Day (9:00am-4:00pm), Half Day AM (9:00am-12:00pm) and Half Day PM (1:00pm-4:00pm) options for boys and girls, ages 4-16, of all skill levels.

Our Valued Instructors

Nike Sports Camps instructors are all experienced and trained tennis, soccer and basketball professionals that are chosen not just for their extensive teaching backgrounds, but also because of their energetic and positive personalities.  Most of our instructors have played tennis, basketball or soccer competitively and/or have varsity experience. In addition, all Nike Sports Camp instructors are friendly, patient and excited to teach your child.  The best sports experience starts with a great instructor and we promise to provide you with skilled and helpful instructors that will guide your child through their training.

Camp Programs

Our Half Day program has a focus on tennis with the inclusion of multi-sport activities depending on the age and needs of the student. The Full Day program will have a great review of skills with advanced teaching to those students attending. Fresh instructional games will be introduced to ensure students are always challenged. NSC will be conducting other activities such as scavenger/treasure hunts, award ceremonies, arts and crafts, and other non-sports activities, helping develop creativity and a more fun environment.

Camp Options

Campers can choose between Full Day (9:00am-4:00pm), Half Day AM (9:00am-12:00pm) and Half Day PM (1:00pm-4:00pm). Please note: All sessions are 5-days long, except for the weeks noted below that are 4-days long.

Check-In/Out

Check-in
  • Check-in will be at the tennis courts at the following times:
    • Full Day Campers at 9:00am
    • AM Half Day Campers at 9:00am
    • PM Half Day Campers at 1:00pm
Check-out
  • Check-out will be at the tennis courts at the following times:
    • Full Day Campers depart at 4:00pm
    • AM Half Day Campers depart at 12:00pm
    • PM Half Day Campers depart at 4:00pm 

Before and After Care

  • Before Care is available from 8:00am - 9:00am daily for $60 for 5-day camps and $50 for 4-day camps.
  • After Care is available from 4:00pm - 6:00pm daily for $75 for 5-day camps and $65 for 4-day camps.
  • Before & After Care Package is available for $120 for 5-day camps and $110 for 4-day camps.

Meals

  • Full Day campers bring their own lunch each day and a nut-free snack.
  • Half Day campers bring their own nut-free snack.
  • Daily cool treat provided

Facilities/Courts

Camp will take place at the five lit outdoor tennis courts at Bellbury Tennis Club in Toronto.

Registration Packet/Photos

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. Camp photos posted daily on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
