Elevate Your Game This Summer at Nike Basketball Camp – Chatham-Kent 2026!

Nike Basketball Camp is returning to Chatham-Kent at Tecumseh Public School for Summer 2026, running the week of August 24 – 28, 2026 - and registration is now live! Building on the success of last year’s camp, this highly anticipated program is back to deliver another week of elite basketball training.

The Nike Basketball Camp at Tecumseh Public School is designed for intermediate to advanced players ages 9 – 17 who are serious about improving their game. Led by experienced coach Phil Ferreira of ATL, campers will receive high-level instruction focused on skill development, game strategy, and performance. Players will work on key areas such as shooting, ball handling, defensive positioning, and overall basketball IQ in a competitive and supportive environment.

Whether you're aiming to strengthen your offensive skills, become a more disciplined defender, or gain a competitive edge, this Chatham-Kent basketball camp provides the tools and coaching needed to elevate your performance. With a strong emphasis on fundamentals, intensity, and game-like situations, campers will leave more confident, more skilled, and ready to compete.

Phillip Ferreira - ATL
Camp Director

A former professional basketball player with international experience, now dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes. With a strong foundation from a successful career at the OCAA level, the transition into coaching has been seamless, bringing a wealth of knowledge and firsthand expertise to the court.

Extensive coaching experience includes leading teams in the London region, such as the Saunders Secondary School Senior Boys and Banting Secondary School Junior Boys basketball teams. As a certified personal trainer, the focus extends beyond just skill development—emphasizing elite ball handling, strength, speed, and overall conditioning to maximize athletic potential.

Currently training athletes across Europe at the club, professional, and amateur levels, as well as providing high-level skills development in Canada with Alpha Training London. Specializing as a shooting coach, strength and speed trainer, and overall basketball skills mentor, the mission remains clear: to elevate athletes to their peak performance through structured, high-intensity training.

Reuben Hasbenebi brings next-level energy, innovation, and a deep understanding of the game to Nike Basketball Camp. A standout player himself, Reuben competed at the prep level with Southwest Academy before going on to play university basketball for the University of Waterloo and later at the collegiate level with Fanshawe College.

Known as one of the top offensive trainers in the game, Reuben specializes in refining shooting mechanics and developing elite-level offensive moves and counters. His training style is modern, relatable, and designed to connect with today’s athletes—meeting them where they are while pushing them to reach their full potential.

Reuben understands the grind. He’s lived it. And now he’s committed to helping the next generation of players not only master the fundamentals but also adopt the mindset and work ethic it takes to succeed at the next level.

We believe that deficiencies in a players game can be addressed through training once the foundation has been put in place. Understanding that basketball is more than just shooting, while at camp attendees work on team concepts regarding movement, game situation decision making, and one-on-one moves.

Price: $350 + HST (EARLY BIRD PRICE)

*A one time $35 Registration Fee is charged once per camper, per year. Exceptions may apply.
