Sports Camps Canada (SCC) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Unity Volleyball, with care of MPG Sports Co. and led by coaches Neil Mason and Daniel Shermer. This collaboration sets a new standard for volleyball camps, clinics, and coach development opportunities for athletes of all levels—from grassroots beginners to competitive and rep-level players—across Ontario and Canada.
Together, SCC and Unity Volleyball will deliver a professional, supported environment designed to grow confidence, skill, and opportunity for every athlete.
Unity Volleyball Club is a not-for-profit youth organization committed to developing athletes of all ages and abilities through high-quality volleyball training and personal growth. Guided by the belief that United We Thrive, Unity emphasizes that when individuals pursue both personal and team excellence, everyone grows stronger together.
Neil Mason
Neil Mason has dedicated more than 20 years to the sport of volleyball as a player, coach, and mentor. Neil has played a key role in helping Unity Volleyball grow into one of the region’s leading development systems. His experience in technical instruction, long-term athlete development, and structured coaching has helped shape a training environment where athletes receive thoughtful guidance, strong fundamentals, and the support needed to reach their full potential. Neil continues to be a driving force behind Unity’s competitive success and its reputation for building confident, capable, and well-rounded players.
Daniel Shermer
Daniel is the founder of Unity Volleyball Club and has over 20 years of experience in the sport as an athlete, coach, and administrator. He inherited his passion for volleyball from his father George, who was also an athlete and a founder/partner in Beach Blast, the GTA’s premier indoor beach volleyball facility. Unity’s success is a direct result of Daniel’s vision and passion, as well as the quality of coaches and volunteers he continues to attract.

At camp, athletes will experience focused, supportive, and growth-oriented coaching. Sessions combine purposeful drills with competitive games to keep energy high and development sharp. Every camper receives individualized attention, ensuring no athlete feels overlooked or underestimated.
“Our goal is simple: every athlete should leave knowing they’re capable of more than they realized,” said the Unity coaching team.
Expanding Access Through SCC
Partnering with Sports Camps Canada allows Unity Volleyball to broaden its reach and provide greater access to elite-style training. “This partnership brings our philosophy to a wider community and gives athletes a high-quality, inspiring environment backed by (...) SCC,” shared Neil Mason and Daniel Shermer.
