Josh Williams
Camp Director

Joshua Williams brings over a decade of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for basketball to his role as Camp Director. As the owner of Time 2 Hoop Basketball Academy and Time 2 Hoop Sports, Joshua has dedicated his career to developing young athletes both on and off the court. He currently serves as the Head Coach of the Fleming Phoenix Men's Varsity Basketball Team, where he continues to inspire excellence and teamwork.

A former collegiate basketball player for the Fleming Knights—now known as the Fleming Phoenix—Joshua combines firsthand playing experience with years of coaching expertise. His deep knowledge of the game, strong leadership, and commitment to mentorship make him a standout role model for campers. Under his guidance, athletes not only improve their skills but also build confidence, discipline, and a true love for the game.

Owen Wisman
Coach

Owen Wisman brings high-level playing experience and a strong coaching background to the camp team. He has competed at every level—from rep and AAU to prep, OUA, and CCAA basketball—and most recently played a year of varsity basketball at Algoma University before continuing his academic and athletic career at Fleming College.

With over five years of coaching youth programs with Time 2 Hoop Basketball Academy, Owen is passionate about helping young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game. His deep understanding of the game and dedication to player development make him a valuable mentor both on and off the court.

Aaren Cecile

Aaren Cecile is a dedicated student of the game with over a decade of playing experience across rep, AAU (Power and Time 2 Hoop), and high school basketball, where he helped lead his team to OFSAA. Currently a student at Fleming Collegeand Manager for the Fleming Phoenix Men’s Varsity Basketball Team, Aaren brings leadership, energy, and a deep love for the game to every session.

His passion lies in helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence, while encouraging them to chase their basketball goals. Aaren’s experience, enthusiasm, and commitment make him a strong role model for aspiring players.

We’re excited to announce that all Nike Sports Camps at Lakefield College School will now include daily swimming! Campers will kick off the week with a swim assessment on Monday in the indoor pool to ensure everyone is safe and confident in the water. Please ensure your child brings a swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes each day. For any questions about the swimming program, feel free to reach out to the on-site camp contact.

  • Half Day $265 + HST 
  • Full Day $355 + HST

Times and Ages:

  • Full Day Times: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Half Day Times: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Ages 7 - 14, Co-Ed, all skill levels

  • Before or After Care: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM / 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM ($125+HST/week)‍
  • Before and After Care: Combo ($220+HST/week)

Shuttle Service (Optional):

Please note that this camp will now take place at Lakefield College School, about a 20 minute drive from the original location at The Playground Peterborough.

To support families with this change, we are pleased to offer a Van Shuttle Service for campers who would like transportation between the original and new location.

Shuttle Details:

  • Pickup Location: The Playground Peterborough
  • Morning Pickup Times: 8:00 AM & 8:30 AM
  • Afternoon Drop-Off Times: 4:15 PM & 4:45 PM
  • Cost:
    • $37.50 for one-way (for the full week)
    • $75.00 for round trip (for the full week)
  • Supervision: Campers will be accompanied by a camp staff member during each shuttle trip.

Parents/guardians can book a spot on the shuttle during the camp registration process, and can choose either one-way or round-trip service.

Campers benefit from access to the LEED-Gold certified Hadden Hall, featuring a full gymnasium, indoor climbing wall, fitness centre, and dance studio, along with an indoor swimming pool and over 2 km of lakefront for aquatic activities. The campus also boasts multiple sports fields, tennis courts, Nordic ski and running trails, and outdoor adventure features like ropes courses and an outdoor climbing wall. With a strong focus on both competitive and lifelong sports, expert coaching, and a supportive environment, this location offers an ideal blend of athletic development, fun, and personal growth—making it an outstanding choice for families looking to provide their child with a premium sports camp experience.

MPG Sports Co. and Check My Athletics partnership provides a unique opportunity for individual players, with dreams of playing at the next level. Our Combine will create an environment where each player will be challenged, taught, respected as we guaranteed to have you walk away a better basketball player in addition to providing them with access to elite combine testing, training, photos, highlights and analytical insight.
Each player will receive a complete report of their combine results and a consultation with the Check My Athletics Analytics and MPG Team to review their results.
