12 Weeks | Beginner to Intermediate | COED, Grades 4–6

Give your young athlete the ideal weekend energy boost with Nike Volleyball Clinics powered by Unity Volleyball - where skill-building and fun go hand in hand!

Our sessions are built to keep athletes active, motivated, and confident, whether they’re new to the sport or continuing to develop their fundamentals. This program goes beyond a typical practice - it’s a place where young athletes learn, grow, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Each session features focused drills that develop passing, serving, setting, and movement, followed by gameplay that gives athletes the chance to apply their skills in a team-based setting. It’s a fun and effective way to stay active, improve technique, and gain confidence on the court.

Whether your athlete is just beginning their volleyball journey or working to refine their skills, this program offers a great opportunity to grow their game - one session at a time.

In just 90 minutes each week, athletes will:

  • Build strong volleyball fundamentals through targeted drills in passing, serving, setting, and movement.
  • Apply their skills through structured, team-oriented gameplay.

Daniel Shermer - Director of OVL

Daniel is the founder of the Unity Volleyball Club and has over 20 years of experience in the sport as an athlete, coach, and administrator. Daniel inherited his passion for volleyball from his father George, who was also an athlete and was a founder/partner in Beach Blast, the GTA's premier indoor beach volleyball facility. Unity's success is a direct result of Daniel's vision and passion as well as the quality of coaches and volunteers he continues to attract.

Neil  has dedicated more than 20 years to the sport of volleyball as a player, coach, and mentor. Neil has played a key role in helping Unity Volleyball grow into one of the region’s leading development systems. His experience in technical instruction, long-term athlete development, and structured coaching has helped shape a training environment where athletes receive thoughtful guidance, strong fundamentals, and the support needed to reach their full potential. Neil continues to be a driving force behind Unity’s competitive success and its reputation for building confident, capable, and well-rounded players.

  • Dates: Sundays, September 20 - December 13 (12 Weeks)
    • No Class Sunday Oct 11th for Thanksgiving
  • Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Ages: Grades 4–6 (current school year) | Ages 9-12

Skills: Beginner to Intermediate

Price: $429 + HST

*A one time $10 Registration Fee is charged once per camper, per session. Exceptions may apply.

1. Who is this program for?

This program is designed for athletes in Grades 4-6 (current school year) beginner to intermediate level.

2. How long is each session?

Each session is 90 minutes, combining skill-focused drills with structured gameplay.

3. What skills will my child work on?

Athletes will develop essential volleyball skills including:

  • Passing
  • Serving
  • Setting
  • Movement and footwork
  • They’ll also gain experience in game situations to apply what they’ve learned.

4. What do I need to bring?

Please bring:

5. When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start time so athletes are ready to warm up promptly.

6. Are parents allowed to watch?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch. Please note that during wet or snowy weather, shoes must be wiped before entering the gym to keep the floors safe and clean.

7. How far in advance should I register?

We recommend registering early as spots are limited and tend to fill quickly. Some sessions may have waitlists if full.

8. What is the refund policy?

Refunds are subject to Sports Camps Canada's standard refund policy. Please refer to our  SCC Policies page or contact our admin team for details.

9. Who coaches the sessions?

All sessions are led by Unity’s experienced and supportive coaching team, trained to work with younger athletes in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
