Nike Volleyball Clinic Little Spikers powered by Unity is the perfect introduction to volleyball for our youngest athletes in Grades 1 to 4. These 1-hour weekly sessions are designed to build movement skills, coordination, and confidence—while making sure every child has fun.

Led by Unity’s friendly and energetic coaches, each session blends:

   • Fun movement games that build agility and balance

   • Age-appropriate volleyball skill introduction (passing, setting, serving)

   • Team-based activities that encourage cooperation and sportsmanship

Whether your child is brand new to volleyball or still learning the basics, Little Spikers provides an encouraging and supportive space to grow.

Coach Guiam's passion for teaching began 15 years ago, over which time he has ran camps, clinics, and workshops throughout Canada and Asia. As a former basketball player and coach at the college level and semi-pro level he too focuses and prides on skill development for all ages, as he strongly believes in improving players both on and off the court should start. He too has worked with many NCAA and Pro level athletes like Andrew Nicholson (Orlando Magic), Jevohn Shepherd (University of Michigan), Mike Fraser (Overseas), Jamal Reynolds (NBDL), Brandon Tull (Spain), Ajahmo Clarke (NBDL), Gabe Osabuohien (Arkansas), Shakur Daniels (Southern Miss.), Kevin Thomas (Troy University), and Jonathan Tull (Central Connecticut).

Little Spikers – Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Little Spikers program?

Little Spikers is a 1-hour weekly volleyball program designed for athletes in Grades 1–4 who are beginners. The program introduces basic volleyball skills, coordination, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.

2. Who can join?

Any child currently in Grades 1–4 who is new to volleyball or still learning the basics. No prior experience is required.

3. When does the program run?

Little Spikers is offered in Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. Each session is one hour per week for multiple weeks (specific dates and locations are listed on our registration page).

4. Where is the program held?

Locations vary by season—please check your registration confirmation for your location and schedule.

5. What should my child bring?

  • Clean indoor athletic shoes
  • Comfortable athletic clothing
  • A filled, refillable water bottle
  • Signed forms (Customer Portal)
  • Big energy and a smile!

6. How early should we arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and be ready to start on time.

7. Can parents stay and watch?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch. We ask that you sit in designated spectator areas. Please wipe off shoes if entering the gym during wet or snowy weather.

8. How far in advance should I register?

We recommend registering early as spots are limited and tend to fill quickly. Some sessions may have waitlists if full.

9. Is there a waitlist if the program is full?

Yes. If the program reaches capacity, you can join the waitlist. We will notify you if a spot opens.

10. What is the refund policy?

Refunds are subject to Sports Camps Canada's standard refund policy. Please refer to our  SCC Policies page or contact our admin team for details.

11. Who teaches the program?

Sessions are led by Unity’s trained and enthusiastic coaches who specialize in working with young athletes.

  • Dates: Tuesdays, April 7 - June 9 (10 Weeks) 

Ages: Grades 1-4: current school year (Ages 6-10)

Price: $224.00 + HST

Times: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Skills: Beginner skill levels

*A one time $10 Registration Fee is charged once per camper, per clinic session. Exceptions may apply.
