Zach Budd
Camp Director

Zach Has been teaching junior development and adult tennis at Havergal College and Crescent School since 2012. Throughout university, Zach taught tennis at Waterloo Tennis Club and enjoyed getting to know tennis players in the local community. Growing up, Zach learned tennis on a clay court, learning to slice and produce topspin to take advantage on the clay surface. Now working as the camp director of Nike Tennis Camp Toronto, he’s excited to bring his team of coaches to Crescent School this Fall and Winter. Helping participants while they are learning to find the right balance of challenging and fun game and drill ideas is at the heart of every lesson.

All coaching staff members specialize in both junior and adult development and have the ability to coach players of all ages and abilities. Junior athletes will experience a program that is fully aligned to Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and carefully designed to give each participant the best tennis development possible.

Additional Program Details

The following measures are in place to ensure the safety of campers, staff, and camper families. All participants will be asked to comply throughout the duration of camps—and any staff member, camper or camper family member who does not comply will not be allowed at camp.

  • COVID-19 screenings and disclosure: SCC staff and camper parents/guardians must sign the SCC COVID-19 screening waiver before camp confirming the participant has not been sick or have reason to believe they have been exposed to COVID-19 within the 14 days prior to camp. All campers will be screened for symptoms and temperature each day. Day campers will be asked to self-screen for fever or symptoms in addition to the on-site check. If a camper or staff exhibits symptoms or contracts COVID-19 during the camp or 14 days after, they are responsible for notifying the Camp Director immediately so that appropriate measures can be taken.

A full list of COVID-19 signs and symptoms can be found on our website:

We want players to experience enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals.

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, camp specifics, and a list of things to bring, will be emailed to all campers prior to their camp date.  If you have any questions/inquiries please email
