Pickleplex Social Club Barrie offers an ideal environment for pickleball players eager to elevate their skills in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. This adult pickleball clinic includes 7.5 hours of focused instruction covering scoring, strategy, grips, specialty shots, and more.

The 5-week program features Series 1 beginning Saturday, March 7, 2026, and Series 2 starting April 18, 2026. The Nike Pickleball Clinic is built to meet individual needs while improving overall game knowledge in a fun and welcoming setting.

CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Age Range: 18+
• Skill Level: Beginner, Low-Intermediate & Intermediate

SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Participants are then sorted by ability first, then age per the Camp Director's discretion - adjustments are made as needed during camp.

While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:

• Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball and have little to no experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game. (No rating or DUPR rating 1.0 - 2.0)
  ‍
• Low-Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play. (DUPR rating 2.0-3.0)
  ‍
• Intermediate: Players at this level are proficient in all aspects of the game and employ strategies in gameplay. They exhibit good footwork and an understanding of gameplay dynamics. This level focuses on competitive play, advanced shot-making, and tactical decision-making. (DUPR rating 3.0+)

EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE

• Equipment Needed: All participants must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle, we will have demo paddles available from Selkirk to try.
• Facility: Pickleplex's new pickleball courts

• Series 1: Saturdays: March 7 - April 4, 2026 (5 sessions)
• Series 2: Saturdays: April 18 - May 16, 2026 (5 sessions)

Time: Saturdays: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
