Nike Basketball Camp 3x3 Development League Newton's Grove Mississauga

The Nike Basketball Camp 3x3 Development League at Newton's Grove is a FIBA 3x3 structured program with 2 divisions for boys and girls ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 years old. The rules are very simple and designed to make it a fast, spectacular, and exciting game.

Participants receive an introduction to basketball and will learn basic concepts, terminology, and gross motor movements from our encouraging and highly-skilled staff. The Complete aspect of the session will help players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at every position.

Newton's Grove campus boasts a brand-new basketball court overlooked by a state of the art running track. Along with a weight room, yoga room, outdoor basketball court and ample natural outdoor spaces.

As a coach Chris's passion for the game is evident at every level. He is able to connect with both beginners to the game and elite level athletes. As a result, of his many years of playing experience, he knows what it takes to develop the skills necessary to improve each player’s individual skill sets. This coupled with his personal love of the game, propels him to bring out the best in every athlete. Coach Chris is always willing to go the extra mile for players who show respect for the game. Whether it's staying late to get extra shots up, developing personalized practice plans for players or communicating with parents on how their child is progressing.

Coach Wheler has coached basketball for over 20 years in numerous capacities and at a variety of schools. As a result, of his many years of experience in coaching both girls and boys teams of all abilities, he knows what it takes to develop the skills necessary to improve each player’s individual skill sets. This coupled with his personal love of the game, propels him to bring out the best in every athlete.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We want players to experience enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

REGISTRATION PACKET
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, camp specifics, and a list of things to bring, will be emailed to all campers prior to their camp date.  If you have any questions/inquiries please email info@sportscampscanada.com.
