WINTER BREAK 2025

Winter Break Nike Basketball Camp at Alpha Performance Center in Aurora is for athletes who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball, improve their basketball skills, and further develop their on-court athleticism in a fun yet competitive & engaging environment. The holiday camp will run 6 days from Dec 22-24 and 29-31, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Our team of coaches are ready to help campers improve their game, make friends and play without limits!

Coaches

Chad Bewley

Bewley brings a wealth of basketball experience in coaching, player development and as a former player.

Most recently, Bewley served as a Development Coach with Basketball Canada's Senior Men's National Team. He has also been a head trainer and coach at a number of youth basketball academies and clubs while also serving as an assistant coach with both the Humber Hawks (2017-2020) and York Lions (2012-13) men's basketball programs.

As a player, Bewley was a member of the Humber Hawks CCAA National Championship team in 2015 and also played with the York Lions in the CIS (now U Sports). While being a student-athlete he earned a BA in Philosophy from York University and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College. Following his collegiate career, he went on to play professional basketball in Australia, China, El Salvador and Spain.

  • 6 Day Camp: December 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31, 2025
    • Half Day $175 + HST (EARLY BIRD)
    • Full Day $235 + HST (EARLY BIRD)
  • 3 Day Camp Options: Week 1 = December 22-24, 2025 OR Week 2 =December 29-31, 2025
    • Half Day $87.50 + HST (EARLY BIRD)
    • Full Day $167.50 + HST (EARLY BIRD)

Times:

  • Full Day Times: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Half Day Times: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Ages: Ages 7 - 15, Co-Ed, all skill levels

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
