Nike Basketball Camp in St.Catharines, Ontario, offers a comprehensive training experience for players ages 9 - 17. Held at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School, this camp focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills such as shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense, while also emphasizing mental aspects like conditioning, video review, and skill challenges. With a 9:1 coach-to-camper ratio, participants receive personalized attention from experienced coaches, including former professional player Phillip Ferreira. Campers also enjoy cross-training sessions and the chance to hear from university and college guest speakers. The camp is designed for both intermediate and advanced players, helping them refine their abilities and build confidence in their game.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
We believe that deficiencies in a players game can be addressed over the course of week long training once the foundation has been put in place. Understanding that basketball is more than just shooting, while at camp attendees work on team concepts regarding movement, game situation decision making, and one-on-one moves.
Intermediate: Have played some form of house league and/or 1 or 2 yrs of playing basketball in general.
Advanced: Training for club or elite players.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
