Nike Basketball Camps Kitchener Waterloo

Nike Basketball Camps in Kitchener-Waterloo is designed to challenge the both beginner, advanced and experienced basketball players. This camp offers an balanced curriculum in order to expose the athlete to competitive basketball. The camp is scheduled to run August 15-19 at Woodlands Christian High School.

The camp is designed to maximize the athlete’s potential in all aspects of the game of basketball. The camp will consist of individual skills development, basketball discussions, small-sided/ 3v3 and 5v5 tournaments, shooting, breakdowns, team concepts and play, and much more. Campers will be led by a team of experienced, qualified coaches, alongside professional, college and university guest players and coaches. Camp Director

Alex Urosevic:

- Assistant coach at CIS level for 8 years(Wilfred Laurier University and Guelph University)

- Head Coach for 15+ years in the K-W Viper basketball program(Won Provincial Cup Championship and CYBL Championships.

- Presently the Vice-President of the Kitchener Waterloo Youth Basketball Association.

-Won OBA Provincial Championship 2022 15 U Boys.

-Played OCAA Mens basketball 1999-2001 at Niagara College.

Camp Details

This camp is for young athletes who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball, improve their basketball skills, and further develop their on-court athleticism in a fun yet competitive & engaging environment. Our camp is open to athletes ages 5-17 years old. Camp Director Alex Urosevic, is ready to help campers improve their game, make friends and play without limits!

This day camp is a concentrated experience designed to accelerate the learning process through outstanding instruction, skill development, situational training, and competition simulation. Participants learn to improve their footwork, dribbling, passing, and shooting through exciting drills, games and activities.

We want players to experience the enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, camp specifics, and a list of things to bring, will be emailed to all campers prior to their camp date.  If you have any questions/inquiries please email  

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
