Nike Cross Country Camp Whistler

Nike Cross Country Camp at the Whistler Olympic Village gives high school XC runners the chance to learn and run in one of the finest and most picturesque training environments on the West Coast. Register for this overnight XC camp from August 12-17, 2025 and have a blast!

Highlights Include:

  • Core training exercises everyday
  • Evening activities include fun, active games, such as Ultimate Frisbee or soccer
  • Workouts that consist of pacing specific workouts
  • Guest speakers on topics such as self-confidence, nutrition, and goal setting

Coaches

Laurier Primeau
Camp Director

Laurier is the Head Coach at the University of British Columbia and has previously been the Head Coach of two countries (Scotland and Canada).  Prior to full time coaching he was a high school teacher who guided his teams to more than 10 BC High School Provincial Championship team banners.  His coaching philosophy is centered around the principles of personal fulfillment and the exploration of one’s own talents.  Laurier has extensive experience in guiding high school sports travel opportunities, including spring break trips to San Diego, Orlando, Phoenix and Hawaii.

You can expect a high demand for these limited first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

Skills learned include proper and efficient running form, strength and body weight workouts, nutrition, life-skills, presentations on healthy attitudes toward the sport and the joy of running. Camp also offers lots of fun activities for all. This camp will help your son or daughter develop as a runner while gaining self-confidence and making new friends.

The Overnight camp features training & instructional sessions per day, guest appearances, three meals, evening recreation activities, and lodging at the Whistler Sport Legacies residences. Campers stay two per room and are assigned by age and roommate requests.

Levels that we cater to:

Athletes committed to cross country/track and field who are looking to compete at the high school, club and post-secondary levels.

Athletes training for other sports but who want to improve their aerobic capacity.
