BACK FOR SUMMER 2026

A unique summer camp opportunity in Calgary for 2026. As part of the Ambrose University Sports Academy Network, young athletes will be afforded the opportunity to directly train on field with a Professional Coach. Sessions will be lead by Claude Bolton and supported by a variety of sport professionals. A Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) with over 25 years of coaching experience at the professional, collegiate, and national team levels, Coach Bolton has delivered performance programs in Canada, Trindad & Tobago, Guyana, India, and the United States, including as a Youth Development Coach with two Major League Soccer (MLS) Clubs – Red Bull New York and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Our Nike Soccer Camps provide specialized progressive training, focus on the enhancement and refinement of fundamental techniques, and aim to guide players to a better overall game understanding.

Directors / Coaches

Claude Bolton
Camp Director

Bolton is a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC), with a Master of Education in Coaching Studies, from University of Victoria, and is licensed by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and Canadian Soccer Association (CSA). Professional, national, and provincial coaching appointments in United States, Guyana, Trinidad, India, Alberta, Ontario, & British Columbia, as well as leading varsity programs in both the university and college ranks, have framed Coach Claude’s understanding of different interpretations of program delivery.

The new Camp Director, who is now the Ambrose University Head Coach of Women’s Soccer, has helped guide national teams in regional CONCACAF tournaments, including historically qualifying for the final round of the 2016 Women's Olympic Qualifying. He has headed both Canada's and Guyana's Men's National Futsal teams.

Bolton has also been a Regional Head and Youth Development Coach for two Major League Soccer Clubs (MLS) – as well as holding positions as a Technical Director and Coach within various youth soccer associations in Canada and internationally. While in Toronto, he received the 3M Recognition award for his outstanding contribution to support community soccer in Ontario.

Alejandra Correa
Coach

Alejandra Correa is a passionate educator, dedicated coach, and lifelong athlete with over a decade of experience in youth sports development and physical education. The Ambrose University Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach currently serves as a high school Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director.  Alejandra brings energy, leadership, and a strong commitment to student-athlete growth both in the classroom and on the field.

Ms. Correa has earned a Bachelor of Education from the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mount Royal University. Her playing career spans multiple competitive levels, including a stint with Nublense in Chile’s semi-professional women’s league.

Certified and experienced, Coach Alej guides several high-level youth girls’ teams within the sport crazy City of Calgary.  Her coaching philosophy focuses on player development, positive team culture, and mentorship—values she has carried and built a reputation with throughout her many roles and communities.

Alejandra is known for her ability to connect with players, develop strong team dynamics, and foster environments where athletes can grow in skill and confidence. She continues to be a driving force in the development of female soccer in Alberta.

Jose Caceres
Co-Director

Coach Jose Caceres | Performance Coach

Jose Antonio Caceres Pawlikowski is a Chartered Professional Volleyball Coach (ChPC) and an NCCP Performance Coach, holding the Advanced Coaching Diploma (ACD) from the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). With over two decades of coaching experience at the professional, collegiate, and national team levels, he has developed and led high-performance programs in Italy, the United States, Peru, St. Lucia, Spain and Canada.

Prior to taking over the role of Ambrose University Athletic Director, Coach Caceres was the Head Coach of the Ambrose University Men’s Volleyball Team, where he was recognized as the CCAA Men’s Volleyball Coach of the Year and the ACAC South Coach of the Year. His coaching philosophy is athlete-centered and holistic, focusing on technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and mental performance.

A dedicated mentor and educator, he has trained elite athletes through specialized skill development programs and has a passion for helping players refine their game through innovative training methods. With formal education in High-Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership from the University of Leipzig and the University of British Columbia (UBC), he brings a scientific and evidence-based approach to volleyball training.

At the Nike Volleyball Camps, Coach Caceres oversees the University Coaches and Athletes that provide Nike Campers with high-level instruction, emphasizing skill refinement, game awareness, and competitive confidence. Coach Jose's expertise ensures that every athlete leaves camp with improved technique, a deeper understanding of the game, and the tools to excel at higher levels of competition.

Nike Soccer Camp – Girls & Boys Mini Camp | Ages 8 - 12

Camp Overview:

Our youngest little athletes learn soccer skills in a fun, games-based, and educational environment. This is the perfect introduction for eager first-time players or those who have been casually enjoying the game and want just a little more time with the ball. Professionally and responsibly guided, awe use soccer to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork. Effective child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at her or his own pace while having a blast! This is simply about instilling the passion of the game.

Nike Soccer Camp – Girls & Boys Foundations Camp | Ages 13 & 14

Camp Overview:

Our staff brings with it international coaching and playing experience …they can play. A professionally designed program will guide these developing players through a series of game activities …we just play. Developmental games and strategies are used to create an environment conducive to enjoyment and learning …while we play. Small modules of play allow players to focus on more specific aspects of the game both physically and mentally…so we can play hard. These sessions will find players more comfortable with a ball while grasping the most fundamental skills to try and perfect this beautiful game.
