2023 Summer Camp Announced
This summer, choose a Summer tennis camp with the ultimate combination of athletics and fun at Nike Tennis Camp at Amberlea Tennis Club in Pickering. Campers, ages 7-14, will combine physical, technical and tactical training and match play coaching to seek improvement. Campers will join Head Coach Catalin Codita and his team of professionals for 20+ hours of tennis training per week. Now offering three sessions in Summer 2023, campers can choose from half-day or full-day tennis camp. Whether a beginner or a seasoned competitor, campers will gain confidence in their playing ability while creating lasting memories and new friendships.

Coaches
With groupings based on age and skill level, the camp utilizes the progressive tennis approach and follows the curriculum “Play to learn” designed by littleace - tennis school.
Meals: Please bring a NUT FREE packed lunch (some snacks and drinks provided, but feel free to pack additional nut-free snacks)
Daily Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Complimentary 5 minutes before/after service

Nike Tennis Camps instructors are all experienced and trained tennis professionals that are chosen not just for their extensive teaching backgrounds, but also because of their energetic and positive personalities. In addition, all Nike Tennis Camps instructors are friendly, patient and excited to teach your child. The best sports experience starts with a great instructor and we promise to provide you with skilled and helpful instructors that will guide your child through their training.

RED BALL
Learn the fundamentals. Proper grip and swing fundamentals, tennis vocabulary, intro to scoring, groundstrokes recognition, hand-eye coordination. Mini tennis equipment and red balls are used to ensure optimal success.
ORANGE BALL
Further skill development and acquisition of new skills through a game-based approach. Fundamental movement skills, strong emphasis on cooperative play.
GREEN BALL
Combination of Tennis specific drills, point play situations. Footwork, agility and speed development.
GIVEAWAYS
All campers in all programs will receive a Nike Sports Camps t-shirt and other great prizes!
REGISTRATION PACKET
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, camp specifics, and a list of things to bring, will be emailed to all campers prior to their camp date. If you have any questions/inquiries please email info@sportscampscanada.com.
FACILITIES
Amberlea Tennis Club is located in Shadybrook park, in central Pickering, in close proximity to schools, Pickering mall, and commercial plaza. The club has two new courts and a seasonal washroom facility. The club hosts a number of junior tennis programs during the outdoor season and promotes a number of social events.
