Nike Youth Pickleball is now at Mount Joy Sports Dome for Summer 2026!

Experience the ultimate indoor pickleball training experience for Ages 6-14, where participants receive elite instruction from a certified coach with experience in competitive pickleball. Held on state-of-the-art indoor courts, our camp provides the perfect environment for players to develop their skills, learn from the best, and have a blast on the court.

Our camp offers a unique opportunity for players of all skill levels to improve their pickleball skills. Whether you’re new to pickleball or looking to take your game to the next level, our coaches will work with you to refine technique, enhance gameplay, and maximize your potential.

Every camper will receive a Nike Sports Camps T-shirt along with other exciting Nike prizes, adding to the excitement of the camp experience.

Coaches

Matt Zaikos
Camp Director

Matt Zaikos has been coaching soccer in Australia, USA, and Canada for over 11 years now. He has coached at many local clubs around the GTA and has helped many young athletes into the Toronto FC Academy program, NDC Program and Provincial Program. He has run many camps in Indiana and Ohio. Matt has also helped coach both the women’s and men’s goalkeepers at Brock University. In addition to coaching, Zaikos serves as the starting goalkeeper and captain of the Darby League 1 Men’s team for 6 years now and has been named as one of the top goalkeepers in the league. Matt has played professionally in Australia, and has also represented Team Canada in Taiwan in the FISU Summer University Games and also helped Team Canada qualify for the AMF Futsal World Cup in Mexico. He also played 3 years in USA on a NCAA scholarship before finishing and graduating from Brock University and leading the league in saves and named top goalkeeper in OUA.

Zaikos holds a National Youth Canada Soccer GK License, Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Coaching Certificate,  NSCAA Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate and his Ontario Soccer C-License.

Ashton Heynes
Head Coach

Ashton Heynes: Tennis & Pickleball Coach

Ashton has been coaching tennis for over 7 years and pickleball for 2 years across Los Angeles, California and the Greater Toronto Area. He has coached athletes of all ages and levels in both club and collegiate environments, with a strong emphasis on technical development, competitive mindset, and long term athlete growth.

As a player, Ashton competed at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels in California and completed four years on scholarship at Biola University as a member of the men’s tennis program. He has competed at the provincial, national, and international levels, including events sanctioned by the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA), NCAA, and ITF circuits, and was a recipient of the OTA Sportsmanship Award.

In addition to his playing career, Ashton served as an Assistant Coach for an NCAA Division II team in California, contributing to practice planning, match preparation, and on-court coaching. He has also worked extensively as a head, private, and assistant tennis professional in both Canada and the United States, leading group clinics, delivering individualized private lessons, and supporting tournament and program operations.

Ashton is a licensed tennis and pickleball instructor, holds TPA Instructor Level 1 with Honours.

*A one time $35 Registration Fee is charged once per camper, per year. Exceptions may apply.
