Fall 2026 Nike Youth Pickleball Camp at TopZpin Hitlabs Saskatoon

Register Now

The fall Nike Youth Pickleball Program at TopZpin Hitlabs powered by Future Aces is an 8-week after-school development program designed to introduce young athletes, ages 8-16, to pickleball and help them build the skills, confidence, and competitive foundation to take their game further. Each week, athletes will progress through structured instruction focused on fundamentals, movement, shot development, court positioning, strategy, teamwork, and match play, with programming adapted to each athlete’s experience and ability.

More than just an after-school program, this is the first step in TopZpin’s youth player development pathway. Athletes who demonstrate interest and readiness can progress into our Future Aces competitive development program and ultimately into our DUPR Minor League Youth Pickleball (MiLP) league, where they can experience organized team competition and continue developing as players.

Our goal is to create a clear pathway from learning the game to training, competing, and growing within the sport—while developing the next generation of competitive pickleball players.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

• Premium Indoor Training – Everything Included: Train on TopZpin’s premium Laykold® acrylic courts—rain, shine, wind or snow, we play! Paddles and all equipment are provided, and every athlete receives a camp T-shirt. Players develop their skills through progressive instruction, games and match play while learning both traditional side-out and rally point scoring.

• 8 Weeks of Development + Wind-Up Tournament: Build skills, confidence and game experience throughout the season, then put it all together in a fun season-ending Wind-Up Tournament celebrating each athlete’s progress and accomplishments! Players can continue their development through TopZpin’s Future Aces competitive program and Minor League Youth Pickleball (MiLP) league.

Directors / Coaches

Lester Esteban
Camp Director

Head Coach, Registered Coach NCCP #6510665

Lester “Coach Les” Esteban has spent more than 35 years around racquet sports, beginning as a tennis player and coach while still in his teens. What started as a lifelong love of tennis eventually expanded into pickleball and a passion for introducing the next generation to racquet sports.

Les is a Certified Level 2 Pickleball Canada Instructor and Pickleball Canada Course Facilitator, as well as a Tennis Canada Certified Instructor, Wheelchair Tennis Instructor, USTA Cardio Tennis Facilitator, and Table Tennis Canada Community Program Facilitator. He is also a former Director of Pickleball Canada, DUPR Club Director and Selkirk Advocate.

Beyond the court, Les spent 10 years working within the Saskatoon Public School Division, giving him extensive experience working with children and youth in an educational environment. That background continues to shape his coaching philosophy today: create a positive environment, make learning fun, build confidence, and give every young athlete an opportunity to succeed.

As co-founder of TopZpin Hitlabs, Les is passionate about building a sustainable pathway for junior pickleball. Young athletes can begin by discovering the sport, develop their skills through structured programming, progress into TopZpin’s Future Aces competitive development program, and eventually compete in youth Minor League Pickleball (MiLP).

For Coach Les, the goal is bigger than teaching young athletes how to hit a pickleball. It is about helping them discover a sport they can enjoy for life while giving those who want to compete the coaching, opportunities, and pathway to see just how far they can take their game.

Rogelio Dimazana
Coach

NCCP# 6513288

Rogelio "Coach Roger" Dimazana has 26 years of experience teaching tennis and a strong focus on athlete development, he specializes in dynamic court movement, tactical control, and structured skill progression across both tennis and pickleball. His approach combines mechanical fundamentals with practical match strategy, giving players the tools to read the game faster, execute shots with precision, and play with confidence.

Coach Roger leverages two decades of experience alongside the distinct strategic elements of both racquet and paddle sports—from tennis's groundstroke leverage and court coverage to pickleball's high-velocity kitchen play, dinking control, and reset mechanics. Whether you are picking up a paddle for the first time, transitioning from tennis to pickleball, or refining your competitive edge, every clinic and private session is structured to build real, game-day results.

Linda Boryski
Coach

NCCP Level 2 Pickleball Coach

A lifelong coach and instructor, Linda has spent decades coaching athletes across multiple sports and possesses a deep understanding of what it takes to help them improve. Her coaching career has included everyone from beginners finding their feet to Olympic and Stanley Cup champions—and countless others striving simply to become the best they can be.

A multisport athlete herself, Linda has competed at a national level in four different sports, medalling in three. She brings that competitive experience to her coaching, along with a genuine appreciation for the different ways people learn, move and perform. She believes the art of coaching is knowing how to challenge athletes, build their confidence and keep things fun.

Linda’s career as a Physical Therapist gives her a trained eye for efficient movement and technically sound skill development. She believes good coaching and healthy movement patterns go hand in hand—not only to help players perform better and prevent injury, but to keep them active, healthy and enjoying the game well into their golden years.

Linda loves the moment when something clicks—the “aha!” moment when a player suddenly sees the game differently and realizes they can do more than they thought.  Helping players discover what they’re capable of, while keeping the journey fun, is what makes coaching so rewarding for her.
