Grades 8–12 | 2-Hour Weekly Sessions | Beginner to Intermediate

Ready to get on the court this season? Whether you’re brand new to volleyball or want to take your skills up a notch, Nike Volleyball Camp Youth League powered by Unity Volleyball is the perfect place to train, compete, and have fun.

This co-ed evening program is open to athletes in Grades 8–12 and offers the best of both worlds: focused skill development and exciting game play—all in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Whether your goal is to get ready for school tryouts or just enjoy playing with friends, Youth League brings the game to life—no tryouts required.

Each session features:

  • Dynamic warm-ups to get moving
  • Skill-building drills for passing, serving, setting, and hitting
  • Structured matches to apply new skills in real game situations

Camp Director

Coach Guiam's passion for teaching began 15 years ago, over which time he has ran camps, clinics, and workshops throughout Canada and Asia. As a former basketball player and coach at the college level and semi-pro level he too focuses and prides on skill development for all ages, as he strongly believes in improving players both on and off the court should start. He too has worked with many NCAA and Pro level athletes like Andrew Nicholson (Orlando Magic), Jevohn Shepherd (University of Michigan), Mike Fraser (Overseas), Jamal Reynolds (NBDL), Brandon Tull (Spain), Ajahmo Clarke (NBDL), Gabe Osabuohien (Arkansas), Shakur Daniels (Southern Miss.), Kevin Thomas (Troy University), and Jonathan Tull (Central Connecticut).

1. Who can join the Youth League?

The program is open to all athletes in Grades 8–12 (current school year). No tryouts are required, and players of all skill levels are welcome—from beginners to those with some school or house league experience.

2. Do I need previous volleyball experience?

Nope! The program is designed for both newcomers and athletes who want to sharpen their fundamentals. Our coaches create a supportive environment for every level.

3. What happens in a typical session?

Each 2-hour session includes:

• A dynamic warm-up

• Skill-building drills (passing, serving, setting, hitting, defense)

• Structured games to apply what’s been learned

4. Where will the sessions take place?

Winter & Spring 2026: Mount Joy Sports Dome

5. What should I bring?

  • Filled Water bottle
  • Packed lunch
  • Towel
  • Sports bag

  • Hat/Sunscreen (outdoor camps)

6. When should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts to check in, change shoes, and be ready to warm up on time.

7. Can parents stay to watch?

Yes! Parents are welcome to watch from the designated viewing areas. Please be mindful of facility rules (such as wiping shoes during wet weather before entering the gym).

8. What if a session is canceled?

In rare cases (e.g., school board permit issues, weather-related closures, or other uncontrollable circumstances), families will be notified by email. A credit or refund will be arranged whenever possible.

9. How far in advance should I register?

We recommend registering early—spots are limited and often fill quickly. If the program is full, you can join the waitlist, and we’ll contact you if a space opens.

10. Who leads the training?

Sessions are led by Unity’s experienced coaches who specialize in developing beginner and intermediate athletes in a positive, growth-focused environment.

  • Price: $239.00 + HST 
  • Times: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

*A one time $10 Registration Fee is charged once per camper, per clinic session. Exceptions may apply.
